This original Abstract Auras™ painting is created on fine art paper using Robert MacDonald’s proprietary Auraism™ method.
Trapped in Color unfolds through vibrant tension, layered motion, and charged chromatic energy. Strokes, splatters, and directional pressure interact across the surface and generate an emergent field that feels immediate and forceful without referencing representation or imposed structure. The interplay of red, yellow, violet, blue, and assertive black arcs forms a dynamic presence that invites sensation before interpretation.
The hand-burnished surface introduces a medium low-relief texture that amplifies the painting’s physical impact. Once completed, the work is permanently laminated to a rigid art board, creating a flat and stable presentation ideal for floater framing.
