Times of Change – Abstract Auras™ Original Painting by Robert MacDonald

This original Abstract Auras™ painting is created on fine art paper using Robert MacDonald’s proprietary Auraism™ method. The work develops through trained non intentional responsiveness within the method’s defined internal conditions rather than through a predesigned image.

Times of Change forms through luminous color transitions and assertive raised linework that move across the surface in controlled directional passages. Structured chromatic fields anchor the composition while high relief acrylic elements introduce calibrated tension and rhythmic movement. The painting develops as the artist responds to the emerging field through mastery guided perception consistent with the requirements of the Auraism™ method.

The pronounced high relief linear structure creates a spatial presence that interacts with light and strengthens the painting’s internal coherence Once completed the work is permanently laminated to a rigid art board producing a flat and stable substrate ideal for floater framing. A tuned sealer and removable UV protective varnish maintain clarity depth and archival integrity.

Created in the MacDonald Gallery studio in Nashville this painting is catalogued with full provenance and includes a Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity with matching holograms. The MacDonald Signature Collection™ floater frame is hand finished in black satin with a clean reveal that elevates the presentation.
