This original Abstract Auras™ painting is created on a canvas panel using Robert MacDonald’s proprietary Auraism™ method.
Radiance formed through spontaneous diagonal motion with vivid passes of violet, magenta, and yellow moving across darker undertones without preplanned direction or structure. Only after completion did the finished surface suggest an atmosphere of brilliance and sustained momentum with its associations discovered rather than designed.
Medium impasto ridges rise from the canvas catching light and intensifying the chromatic field. Layers of gesture overlap recede and reassert themselves giving the work a continuous surge of energy that shifts with viewing angle and distance which is consistent with paintings created through the Auraism™ method.
The painting is created on a rigid canvas panel providing a stable base for expressive mark making and textured movement. A tuned sealer and removable UV protective varnish preserve color depth clarity and long term archival integrity.
This work is catalogued with full provenance and includes a Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity with matching holograms. The MacDonald Signature Collection™ floater frame features a black satin finish with a refined shadow line reveal that elevates the artwork without distraction.
