About the Artwork<\/h3>\n

Mira draws on Peter Max’s frequently revisited vase-of-flowers compositions, with a large vase anchoring the lower portion of the image and an oversized central bloom rising above a cluster of smaller flowers. He develops the subject through his own arrangement of color, shape, and movement, using vivid contrasts to give the floral grouping a distinct Mira character.<\/p>\n
